creation of furniture and unusual small objects
object
wardrobe Telefix
A pervasive problem: chaos and complexity. We wanted to design a wardrobe that was incredibly easy to assemble and, despite its open concept, didn't appear overly intrusive. We approached this with a vertical telescopic rod and horizontal shelves.
Vi:par
Neither sitting nor standing: stance! We explored the unique intermediate form of resting. The result is an object that appears minimalist at first glance. However, upon closer inspection of the surfaces, one notices that the side surface is twisted! This despite the fact that Vi:par appears parallel in the views.
cube, semantics, wall clock
Every beginning is a beginning (or something like that ;D). Creativity was fostered in these three sub-projects. We started by disassembling a cube and transforming it into something in just a few steps. We continued with a pair of opposing concepts and the design of an object to go with it. What is the relationship between language and form? Finally, we were tasked with designing a wall clock. With its curves and snug hands, it has a complete appearance.
